Batch re size or re name


Do you have an entire folder of images that you would like to re-size? or maybe even change from .jpeg to .png?

Here we go.

Written instructions:

Put all the images you would like changed into a folder.

Open Photoshop

Open one of the pictures from the folder

On the right panel select the ACTION image (looks like a play button)

Make a new 'FOLDER' name is: 'CUSTOM'

In that folder make a FILE called: 'RE-SIZE'

Then press 'RECORD'

(From this point on your actions are being 'recorded')

To re-size: Click on 'IMAGE' then 'IMAGE SIZE'

Re-size the image to whatever size you want ALL the pictures to be

To re-name: Click on 'FILE' and then 'SAVE AS' and save it was whatever file ext. you would like (ie- .jpeg, .png, etc.)

Then close your image. Go to 'FILE' and 'CLOSE'

Then press stop on the recording device (right panel)

Go to 'FILE' --> 'AUTOMATE' ---> 'BATCH" ---> pick your sources

Then... GO. All of your files will be re-sized or re-named in front of your eyes.
